| And Goodbye America...
I'll be leaving for Beijing in the morning. The past few weeks have been filled with many meaningful times, though not enough of them. Here are some of the highlights: - ACF Retreat - Making mutton sticks in Rochester - Speaking at ACF, KUPCNJ, PPC - Chilling with the cousins - Step Up 2.... (the streets) - Han - ESPN (SportsCenter, Around The Horn, PTI) - and many more
Even though I had a great time in NJ/NY, I've been steadily itching to go back to China. There is just so much there. And each time I come to the states for a visit, I try to bring back as much of China as I can -- to show people and inspire people. If you attended my workshop, listened to my sermon, or were able to listen to my stories, thank you. It's my sincere hope that it helped and encouraged you.
It will be another long series of months until my next entry, so I'd like to leave all of you with a quick exhortation. The verse in Matthew 9, "the harvest is plenty but the laborers are few" wasn't a mere observation by Jesus. It was a catalyst for action and participation. The following verse commands us to ask God to send more laborers into the field. So I exhort all of you to think deeply about the global work of God. Then ask, "does God want to send me?" |

| Broken Heart
Have you ever heard a piece of news that left you in pieces? If not, then ask God to break your heart and give you purpose. |

| Ni Hao!
Greetings to all who still use this thing. I've been here in the USA for about a week now, and it's been pretty awesome so far. I went to the ACF retreat which was super, and I'll be giving the message at ACF this coming Friday. Then I'll return to NJ for the next 2 weeks and I'll be giving a few more talks at churches before I return to Beijing on February 20. That means I won't be back on Xanga until my next visit to the States (or any other country that doesn't block access to Xanga). But actually, Xanga pretty much sucks now, since everyone uses facebook. Anyway, this entry is pretty worthless... just saying a little hello. |
